Let the Blogging Commence

Buried under a pile of doubts, future planning, heaps of free time, and a hint of loneliness, I am thrilled to announce that I have once again found my muse. I will not lie to you, my fellow bloggers and friends, I have wanted to start a blog for some time now, but each time I told my fingers to do the talking they seemed to get unusually shy.
These fingers are writing at a rate that I haven’t seen them type at in some time. My objective, as a new college graduate, is to find originality, creativity, and ingenuity in this great big world I can now embarking on. I have not had the time or inspiring resources to write about what it is I have to say in a long time. So lets do this.
First thing is first, shall we have an introduction?

Hey, I'm Allison.
...and this is my hairiest of friends, Ella Mae.

I decided to include my dog in this blog for a number of reasons. She is my companion, my eyes for exploration, and more importantly she tends to be right next to me on my journeys into the world... in fact, she is my adventure. As I sit and write, there is no doubt that she will be loyally by my side in a way that no human will ever be.

So, anyway, as I said before, lets do this.

Today, on my very first blog entry I would like to request that you please, oh please listen to my current album of choice...
I discovered this album months ago and ignored it... and then I heard Locomotive Breath on the radio a few weeks ago. I hadn't heard something so extraordinarily raw in my life; a jam session gone so beautifully right...grunts and a flute never sounded more sexy. I hurried home to listen to the rest of the album, and not to my surprise the entire thing is simply fantastic.
So if you heard it before, which I am sure many of you have... listen to it again, for me. And if you haven't heard it before, you're in for a treat.
